Jim was born and raised in the Omaha, Nebraska area, graduating from Plattsmouth High School and from Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska with honors. He has been working in the healthcare industry since 1988. Jim moved to McCook in early August of 2000, along with his wife, Kandace, and children, Sydney and Nathan, and began working as Chief Financial Officer at Community Hospital. Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and college football - especially Husker football.

As the President & Chief Executive Officer, Jim has the primary responsibility for administration, planning, and operations of the Hospital, including the Community Hospital Health Foundation, satellite clinics and related corporations.
