Tom Carpenter joined Community Hospital in
December 2002. Prior to that he was an Agriculture and
Commercial/Business Banker with Wells Fargo Bank since September
1999. From 1993 to 1996, Carpenter was the Director of
Accounting Services for Rural Health Development, a hospital and
nursing home management company. He also owned and operated his
family farm in Bartley.
In addition to employee retention and
recruitment, other administrative responsibilities in his
position include supervising the department directors and
coordinators of:
He serves on the Performance Improvement
Steering Committee, the Health Insurance Committee, Decision
Support Committee, Tobacco-Free Committee, as well as the
Administrative Council. Tom also instructs Crisis Prevention
Intervention classes at Community Hospital.
After graduating from Bartley High School, Tom
received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems
from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Tom completed a term
on the Twin Valley school board in January 2003. He also served
on the boards of the Tri-State Livestock, United Way and McCook
Community Housing Corporation. He was a member of the 2002
Leadership McCook group and the Bartley Lions Club.
He and his wife, Julie, have three children and
live in Bartley.
Julie is a Resource Teacher at McCook Public
Schools. Their children, Andrew, Danielle, and Rachelle, attend
Cambridge Public Schools in Cambridge. |
