Kathy Housley, LPN  1998

Kathy is a spirited energetic nurse who carries out her duties with a quick smile, generous sense of humor, and caring spirit. She is one of the “old timers” who has seen our facility grow and change with the times. Kathy deserves this recognition not only for the consistent high quality care she gives her patients, but for her willingness to “go the extra mile” for Community Hospital. Kathy willingly worked the night shift for weeks at a time when there was no one else to fill the shift. She frequently carries heavy patient assignments when we are short staffed- giving quality care all the while. She serves on committees- giving of her spare time to improve staff retention. Kathy is fun to work with and has a genuine “Caring Spirit” for her patients and fellow employees.
