For Health Care Providers
ACLS -
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Community Hospital and the American Heart
Association present training sessions on the latest
techniques in cardiac resuscitation. The trained faculty
is made up of area health personnel in an effort to keep
the program timely to rural providers. This is a two-day
class, hours will be 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on day one;
day two hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
The PALS course is taught according to criteria
established by the American Heart Association. Course
objectives include information and strategies for
preventing cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and
children, recognizing the infant or child at risk of
cardiopulmonary arrest, and describing cognitive and
psychomotor skills necessary for resuscitation and
stabilizing the infant or child victim of
cardiopulmonary arrest.
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program and
CPR -
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
Available to staff, EMT's and Paramedics.
