Community HealthCare, Community Hospital’s home health and hospice department, is moving from the Community Hospital campus to a new home in McCook this weekend, according to Tammi Ritter, Director of Home Health and Hospice.

On Monday, April 3, Community HealthCare will be open for business at 407 West Fifth Street, in the same building as the Green Herb and just east of the Sears store. The new location provides off street parking close to the building for easy access. It also offers a larger facility for the home health staff with more private offices than at their previous location.

The phone number, 308-345-8356 will remain the same, Ritter said, although the fax number will be changed to 308-345-1515. She emphasized there may be some time on April 3 when the phones will not be working, as the phone company is installing new equipment. During that time, anyone needing to reach the Community HealthCare and Hospice may call Community Hospital at 345-2650.

Community HealthCare and Hospice provides services in Red Willow, Frontier, Hayes, Hitchcock, Furnas and Dundy Counties. Hospice services are also available in Chase County in Nebraska and Decatur and Rawlins Counties in Kansas.
