Community Hospital invites 55PLUS members and the general public to an evening of entertainment, “Changes, Challenges and Chuckles” at the historic fox theatre on McCook’s Norris Avenue, Thursday, September 25 at 7 p.m. Free popcorn and bottled water will be served.
Featured speaker is Sharon Cheney from Lincoln. Sharon is a registered nurse with a Master of Arts degree in adult and continuing education. She does tall serious work masquerading as a very short woman and is CFO (Chief Fun Officer) of Cheney & Associates. She has presented to thousands of people on topics that deal with attitude and reaction to change, stress, time usage and other challenges.
Welcome the fall season and the Heritage Days weekend with special entertainment to challenge and inspire. Learn about change, how we react to it and adapt to it. Examine your “laugh life” and see if you are getting the recommended daily dose of laughter. Humor can be used to help re-frame change from fearful events to opportunities.
Don’t miss the special guest appearance from “Fanny” (a.k.a. Martha Roe). She’s loud and not quite dressed for success, but Fanny knows how to look at life from a humorous point of view.
Reservations are not necessary for this program.
