Community HealthCare and Hospice, Community Hospital's
Home Health and Hospice department, is sponsoring the annual Hospice Tree of
Lights celebration Tuesday, December 2, at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Hospital
multi-purpose room.
The public is invited to attend this celebration and memorial service of
their loved ones who have passed on. During the celebration, a hospice and
memorial roll call will be read. Entertainment will be provided by the Key of
Gee Barbershop Quartet. Refreshments will be provided.
Donations of any amount may be given to purchase lights in honor of a
loved one and to help light the Hospice Tree of Lights. The tree will be on
display at Community Hospital in front of the Medical Specialists Center
throughout December.
Donations will help fund Community HealthCare's Hospice volunteer
training program as well as provide additional training and support materials
for home health and hospice projects.
Call 308-345-8356 to learn more about making a donation for a tree light
in honor of a loved one. Anyone from the public is invited to participate, even
if Community HealthCare and Hospice did not serve their loved one.
The new multi-purpose room is just north of McCook Clinic. Visitors may
access it by parking in the hospital’s front parking lot and entering the
Medical Specialists Clinic’s front door.
