Brett Schmitz, certified physician assistant, joined McCook Clinic in 1993. Brett graduated from the LPN nursing program at Northeast Community College, in Norfolk in 1986 before entering the Army as a medical specialist from 1986-1989. He received his physician assistant degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1993.
