Radiation and Medical Oncology Services Close to Home

Traveling long distances for quality cancer care is no longer required, thanks to advancements in cancer care at Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska. Community Hospital's Infusion department and the Anderson Center for Radiation Oncology now provide advanced medical oncology and radiation oncology services to patients in a 15-county area in southwest Nebraska, northwest Kansas and eastern Colorado.

Patients are accepted through physician referral and will receive a well-rounded treatment package with:

• Coordinated care with their physicians and other cancer treatment specialists
• Nutrition, psychological, social, exercise, and other wellness services
• Assistance in financial counseling, patient education, and screening programs

Meet Our Professional Staff

Our professional staff features a radiation oncologist who makes regular visits from the Callahan Cancer Center in North Platte, Nebraska. Our team also includes a full-time physician assistant, physicist, radiation dosimetrist and radiation therapists who work directly with all relevant primary care physicians and medical specialists in the area.
