McCook, Neb. – Calling all 7th and 8th graders with a passion for healthcare! Get ready for an exciting opportunity! The University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) and Community Hospital are teaming up for the upcoming Health Science Explorers Camp, set to take place on Thursday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Community Hospital in McCook.

This FREE camp offers an immersive experience where participants will engage in hands-on learning activities across various healthcare disciplines, including Laboratory Sciences, Nursing, Radiology, Surgery, and Respiratory Care.

"We're excited to provide young students with an opportunity to explore the diverse field of healthcare," said Baleigh Abbott, Population Health & Outreach Coordinator at Community Hospital. "This camp goes beyond textbooks, allowing participants to interact with healthcare professionals and experience the real-world applications of their interests."
